The Fort Myers Aquarium Society (FMAS) is an aquarium club for enthusiasts of all levels to meet and share their experiences. Though our membership is primarily composed of freshwater keepers, we have a few salties among us, and are are always welcoming hobbyists to join us! We achieved non for profit status in 2013. The club is excited to continue to grow.

Our Monthly meetings usually comprise of a combination of the following:

an educational speaker

a fish of the month presentation

a highlight of an aquarium related magazine or journal article

round table discussion
-
and as always the monthly meetings always concludes with a club auction where lots of goodies are to be had!

MEMBERSHIP
In accordance with the club by-laws, the Fort Myers Aquarium Society has a board of directors consisting of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the Past President after completing two years of
service.
The Board of Directors are elected to serve a term of one (1) year, except the President who serves for two (2) years consecutive. Elections will be held in November at the regular Society meeting, and the newly elected Board of Directors will take office on January 1.
